-This site lets you create your own visual dictionary. Students can record their definitions or show an example of the definition of a word.

-This site has short videos on definitions of thousands of words. You can create a word list that students can study from.

2. Project Production Sites

- This site allows a teacher to create a classroom with up to 100 student accounts. Students don't need an e-mail address. They create an online poster that can be embedded in many different places. Pretty easy to use with instruction.

B. http://yodio.com
- This site allows students to create podcasts by calling a toll-free number. They can also upload pictures and create a narrative story using their pictures and the podcasts. Students need an e-mail address to create an account. A teacher could create an account and have students use that site. It is easy to work with and easy to embed.

C. http://wikispaces.com

-This site allows teachers to create their own workspace online. Students can be given individual accounts without an e-mail address if teachers apply to have an upgraded account.

-This site allows you to create a min-movie in three scenes or less with sound, characters, and dialog. It is totally free and doesn't require an account. You can embed it on other sites.

-This site allows you to create a cube (including pictures, art, voice, and text) describing something that is meaningful to you.

-This site allows teachers to create a classroom twitter account, viewable by only those in the classroom.

-This site allows you to create an online classroom with chat capabilities. Students can turn in homework and receives grades all on the site.

-This site lets you build a book. You can create not only text, but props, backgrounds, and scenes. If you create a book over 16 pages, you can order it. A teacher can create a classroom account for free.

-This site allows students to create an online graphic novel. They can create it one page at a time. They get to create dialog, add characters, backgrounds, etc. They can save information if they have an account. Accounts are free.

-This site allows students over the age of 13 to post their own writing (any form). Students can also read others writings and comment on them.
